Job Summary
Travel Neuro Registered Nurse position in the Neuro ICU at a healthcare facility in Peoria, IL. The role involves daily oversight and management of the neuro‑patient population, working closely with nursing leadership and neuro/neurosurgery physicians to facilitate high‑quality patient outcomes. Job type:

- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide appropriate education.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.
- Motivated candidates seeking career growth.
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Neuro RN.
- Phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
- Compassionate, sensitive, critical thinker, and able to act fast with emergencies.
