Employee Health Nurse / Clinical Manager Assistant (CMA)
Responsible for providing nursing care and coordination of employee health services, assisting with clinical measurements, data collection, compliance with occupational health regulations and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities- Administer vaccines to staff (flu, hepatitis B, MMR, varicella) and assist with vaccination clinics.
- Assist in the management of Employee Health Software (Agility) and work toward integration with Workday.
- Assist with needle stick injuries, blood‑borne pathogen exposures, communicable disease exposures, and provide post‑exposure prophylaxis per protocol.
- Collaborate with Employee Health, Occupational Health, and HR on employee medical clearance, ensuring timely and accurate communication and maintaining required paperwork in the employee health record.
- Collaborate with Employee Health and other healthcare leaders to perform additional duties as assigned to support workplace health programs and promote a safe, healthy work environment.
- Communicate provider instructions regarding orders, results, instructions or recommendations; route messages to provider or staff as appropriate.
- Conduct respirator fit‑testing and assist with fit‑testing clinics.
- Document clearly and accurately in employee health records, maintain accurate records, and document responses to employee history and screening questions.
- Follow Universal Precautions at all times during contact with employees, equipment, instruments, and specimens.
- Keep providers and staff aware of employee requests, needs, and observations that may affect assessment, care, and follow‑up.
- Schedule employees for office or clinic visits as needed.
- High School Diploma (required)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an accredited LPN program
- Licensed Practical Nurse in Illinois (per the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
Compensation$22.72 to $35.22 per hour, based on experience. Sign‑on bonus of $5,000.
