Registered Nurse; RN - Internal Float Pool - Part Time

Role Overview

Internal Float Pool RN – 24 hrs/week (part‑time) at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Rotates every 3rd weekend, nights 1900‑0730 or 2300‑0730, and covers one summer and one winter holiday.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care across multiple inpatient units (Med/Surg‑Ortho, ACE/Stroke, Cardiac Medical Telemetry, ED boarding) using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Practice evidence‑based clinical decision making and effective communication.
• Actively support staffing needs and ensure continuity of care during unit rotations.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice, with at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and ongoing professional growth.

Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional compensation: $4/hr in‑house differential, $5/hr night shift differential, $4/hr weekend differential.

Benefits include tuition reimbursement, nursing certification exam reimbursement, and internal pool differential.

24 hours per week on nights (1900‑0730 or 2300‑0730) with a rotation every 3rd weekend and one summer and one winter holiday required.
