Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Job Details

• Position is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU/ACU) setting,

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week),

• Weekend shifts on a rotation basis,

• Holiday shifts on a rotation basis,

• May be required to float to other facilities within the Carle Health system,

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted),

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required,

• Minimum one (1) year of ICU or relevant nursing experience required,

• ASN required; BSN preferred,

• Epic EMR experience required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation,

• Actively participates in safety reporting, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract,

• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for more than one year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
