Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights

Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks| Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join a dynamic inpatient team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Administer medications and treatments safely following nursing standards
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, patient education, and care planning
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with patient care staff to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain patient safety and uphold infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
