, we're looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). In this role, you will support the Director of Nursing while helping guide and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care. - Support the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations
- Lead, train, and mentor nursing staff members
- Assist with care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate with physicians, residents, and family members regarding resident care needs
- Help ensure excellent resident care and efficient nursing department workflow
- Make daily rounds to support staff, identify concerns, and follow up appropriately
- Assist with staff education, onboarding, and development
- Support resident dignity, safety, and quality outcomes
- Step in where needed to support teamwork and facility operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management in a resident-centered care environment
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and team-focused professional
