The Oncology RN will provide care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement new symptom management methods, and monitor patient progress. The role encompasses the entire oncology care continuum, often focusing on the acute phase.

• Provide comprehensive care for cancer patients across all stages, emphasizing acute care.
• Assist patients from post‑surgical to near‑terminal stages in managing their disease and treatments, including chemotherapy administration.
• Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
