Travel Neuro RN - Focus Staff (Peoria, IL)

We have a client in Peoria, IL seeking a traveling Certified Neuro RN to oversee the neuro patient population and collaborate with nursing leadership, neuro/neurosurgery physicians, and extenders to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

• Contract assignment: 13 weeks (temporary)
• Shift: 4x12-hour nights
• Compensation: pay varies by location and experience

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel effectively
• Precept student nurses and new hires as needed

• BSN from an accredited nursing program and current licensure
• AHA Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Neuro RN
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Motivated to pursue career growth and critical thinking with swift emergency response
• Compassionate and sensitive disposition
