RN: Cath Lab

Job Description

Step into a travel contract in a cath lab setting in Peoria, IL, supporting a high‑acuity cardiac workflow built around STEMI, NSTEMI, HF, congenital cases, and structural heart procedures. In this Days role, you’ll work 4–9 hour shifts and help complete daily cases—occasionally rolling forward when emergent cases require it.

Your day‑to‑day will include monitoring and responding to rhythm strips and supporting occasional drip titration. Documentation is completed in EPIC, using GE and Philips monitoring systems, along with McKesson.

Call is a key part of the assignment: expect 6–8 call shifts per month (primary and backup). Weekends rotate roughly every 6–7 full weekends, with coverage running Friday 5:30 pm through Monday at 6:00 am, plus additional backup weekend shifts averaging about once per month. A charge nurse supports coordination during shifts, and when you are on‑call, you may function as the resource/charge lead.
