RN - Medical​/Surgical

Role Overview:

This position involves providing professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team by applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Implement interventions to achieve patient outcomes and evaluate progress continuously.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain professional accountability.
• Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, staying current with evidence-based practices.
• Share clinical knowledge and promote team development.
• Perform bedside lab testing, specimen collection, and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Educate patients and families using age-specific and culturally sensitive approaches, ensuring safety and understanding.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements to improve patient satisfaction and care standards.

• Valid RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, adapt teaching strategies, and prioritize care needs.
