Position Overview

Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Infectious Disease team in Peoria, Illinois.

Join an established department with two Infectious Disease physicians and an additional Advanced Practice Provider.

Primarily an inpatient position.

Job duties include performing detailed histories and physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, and formulating assessments and plans with the attending physician on patients with various infectious diseases.

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with no night call. One in four weekend calls, which is mostly handled remotely.

Carle Health is a not‑for‑profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility.

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• 1–3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience required

Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public school districts.

The compensation range for this position is $56.37–$73.29 per hour. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
