Full-Time Travel Stepdown RN

A Stepdown RN provides specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or inpatient units, requiring frequent monitoring and interventions. Key responsibilities include interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering medications, assisting with cardiac procedures, documenting patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. The role involves responding to cardiac emergencies, educating patients on cardiac health, and maintaining safety and confidentiality standards.

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred: PCCN, NIHSS certifications
• Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and effective teamwork

• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs
