Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, experience managing emergency and trauma patients, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency and trauma patients.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Delegate appropriate patient care responsibilities to support staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

Certifications

• ACLS or obtain within 3 months of hire
• PALS or obtain within 3 months of hire
• NIHSS or obtain within 3 months of hire

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room, Emergency Department, or Trauma nursing experience

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willingness to obtain within 5 years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC Certification
• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department or Trauma Center
