Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology

Peoria, IL

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday call (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, arteriograms, electrophysiology, and other specialized procedures under sterile technique
• Prepare the examination area and position patients appropriately for procedures
• Operate complex radiology and procedural equipment in accordance with established techniques and protocols
• Pass materials and provide direct procedural support to physicians as directed
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and assessment throughout the procedure process
• Participate in rotating Saturday call coverage within a department performing 5–10 procedures per day across 2 active procedure rooms

• Active Illinois RN license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting
• Ability to work within a sterile field and follow established procedural protocols
• Must be able to pass a drug screen; position is located on a drug-free campus

• Prior experience working alongside Electrophysiologists in an EP lab environment
• Familiarity with a team-based cath lab structure including both RN and tech roles

• Work within a focused, collaborative unit supported by a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with limited weekend call obligations
• Gain specialized procedural experience in a department staffed with dedicated Electrophysiologists and a balanced RN-to-tech team
