ASAP About the Position Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61637! Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Peoria, IL Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for general medical-surgical patients with a variety of diagnoses in an 18-bed acute care unit Manage and titrate Heparin drips in accordance with unit protocols Monitor and manage patients with oxygen requirements up to 6L NC, and stable BiPAP/CPAP as needed Perform IV starts and collaborate with unit resources when needed; coordinate with inpatient phlebotomy team for blood draws Float to other units as needed, per facility floating policy Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 Hospitalist/Intensivist coverage, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy

Required Qualifications Active Illinois RN license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated) Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience Ability to work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights) and participate in holiday rotation Must comply with drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen
