Want full-time hours without a full patient assignment? Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN for a full-time overnight pediatric case in Peoria. If you enjoy working nights but are ready for a nursing environment where you can focus your attention on ONE patient, private duty nursing may be exactly what you're looking for. You'll provide skilled 1:1 nursing care for a child in the comfort of their home while helping give their family the reassurance of knowing their child is safely cared for throughout the night.

As your patient's overnight nurse, you'll provide the skilled nursing care and monitoring they need throughout the night. Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home
• Monitor your patient's condition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Provide case-specific skilled nursing care
• Respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Follow the individualized plan of care
• Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team
• Complete required nursing documentation

Active Illinois RN or LPN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, CPR certification or willingness to obtain, compassionate and dependable approach to care, interest in working one-on-one with a pediatric patient. New graduate? We'd love to talk to you. You don't need previous private duty or pediatric nursing experience to apply. Castor provides paid, hands-on training to help you develop the case-specific skills you need before working independently.
