The healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical Floor (MS) for a night shift position in Peoria, Illinois. The role involves providing high-quality patient care for adult patients with various diagnoses, ensuring safe and effective treatment, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with dedicated support staff.

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 1 year of hospital experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  ACLS certification is preferred for Charge RN position
• Schedule:
  
  Every other weekend work (Saturday/Sunday nights or Friday/Saturday nights), holiday rotation per policy
• Float:
  Travel RNs are first to float to other units as needed
• Duties:
  Managing patients with common diagnoses on a 18-bed unit, titrating drips such as Heparin, troubleshooting oxygen requirements, reading telemetry strips monitored remotely via Phillips equipment, and working with patient care technicians (PCTs) and unit staff
• Additional Information:
  The unit has in-house hospitalist and intensivist 24/7 coverage, in-house RT and pharmacy available 24/7, and a unit clerk available 24-hour coverage. Travel RNs will have a 12-hour orientation shift with a unit preceptor
