Description:
This position involves working in an acute care setting focused on labor and delivery.
The unit is equipped with LDR rooms, OR suites for C-sections, and postpartum beds.
The nurse to patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines.
Common patient diagnoses include postpartum mothers and newborn infants.
The unit includes respiratory therapy support as needed.
Telemetry monitoring is performed off unit by dedicated technicians.
The nurse will participate in self-scheduling every six weeks and may float to other relevant departments as necessary.
Weekend and holiday work is required as part of the schedule.
Any professional-looking scrubs are acceptable for the dress code.
