Quality Control Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products by implementing effective quality management systems.

• Manage ISO compliance (ISO 9001) and lead preparation for ISO 13485 certification, including audits, documentation, and system updates.
• Oversee quality metrics, inspections (incoming, in-process, first-piece), PPAP/FAIR documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead scrap reduction initiatives, corrective actions (CAR/SCAR), and DMR/RMA processes within the Mietrak ERP system.
• Manage calibration activities (internal and external) and support quality-related activities across production.
• Train operators, leads, and QA staff on quality processes, inspection methods, and print interpretation.

• Proven experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001
  ; experience with ISO 13485 strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with PPAP, FAIR, corrective action processes, and calibration systems.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and influence cross-functional teams.
