Schedule:

Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.

Overview: HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your area. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s) and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, and build rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.

  • Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store
  • Train retail store associates on HP products and services

Qualifications
  • Be a problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast
  • Have an outgoing personality and be eager to learn
  • Be comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products after training
  • Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
  • Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus
  • Training or product demonstration experience is a plus
  • 1‑year job experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience (required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
  • Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
Job Description
  • Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
  • Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees
  • Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
  • Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
  • Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs
  • Advise customers by providing information on products and services
  • Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
  • Accurately document and report sales
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
  • Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times
  • Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
Performance Measurements
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
  • Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
