Sam’s Club optical associate provides member service, maintains optics inventory and displays, handles sales and transactions, and supports the optical team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting Sam’s Club products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Maintain the sales floor and optical area in accordance with company policies, properly handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise in the optical area and complete required paperwork logs and documentation.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, process member purchases, assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for membership and payment types.
• Sell optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses; complete eyewear, contact lens orders, verify prescription information, maintain paperwork, collect payments for doctor services, and perform and record optometric pre‑tests.
