Position Summary
The Front Desk Team Member is responsible for creating an exceptional first and last impression for every client who walks through our doors. This role serves as the face of Studio Spin, ensuring members and guests feel welcomed, supported, and excited to return.
In addition to providing outstanding customer service, this position supports studio operations, membership sales, lead follow‑up, retail sales, and overall studio cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities Member Experience & Hospitality- Greet every client with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Learn member names and build meaningful relationships within the community
- Assist members with class check‑in, account questions, and studio policies
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients
- Celebrate member milestones, achievements, and special occasions
- Respond to prospective client inquiries via phone, text, email, and in‑person conversations
- Follow up with trial clients and leads to encourage bookings and membership conversions
- Educate clients on memberships, class packages, promotions, and studio offerings
- Support membership sales goals through relationship‑driven conversations
- Open and/or close the studio according to established procedures
- Ensure the studio remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts
- Assist with laundry, studio resets, retail displays, and equipment organization
- Maintain lobby, bathrooms, and common areas to Studio Spin standards
- Help prepare the studio for special events and community experiences
- Promote and sell retail merchandise
- Maintain attractive retail displays and inventory organization
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking
- Collaborate with instructors and leadership to ensure a seamless client experience
- Communicate member feedback, concerns, and operational issues to management
- Support studio initiatives, events, and community‑building activities
- Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable using technology and booking software
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in hospitality, fitness, retail, or customer service
- Sales experience or confidence discussing memberships and packages
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
- Creates memorable experiences that keep members coming back
- Builds genuine relationships within the Studio Spin community
- Helps convert prospects into loyal members
