Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. Your work keeps our facilities welcoming and safe, and your positive attitude ensures customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain facility safety by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company‑approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers and ordering replenishments when levels are low.

• Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage).
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
