T-Mobile Mobile Associate, Store-In-Store Job Overview

Mobile Associates are integral to the Retail Team, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. In a high‑traffic environment, they build relationships with customers, identify needs, and recommend solutions, exceeding performance targets by excelling in sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
  • Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, recommend wireless solutions and onboard customers to the T‑Mobile app for wireless needs, deepening relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, products, systems, and procedures; review personal results and current promotions; partner with nearby store locations to fully onboard customers; perform skill practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, opening and closing procedures; secure kiosk assets and report lost keys or assets.
  • Provide customer‑obsessed service by building rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, capture referrals, manage return‑processes, and perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail.
  • Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up through device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay of $5.00 per hour. After training, Mobile Associates may promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed $20 per hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Eligible employees also receive an annual stock grant.
