Center Store Clerk - Knoxville Crossing

Job Description

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance
• Stock, straighten, and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non‑Foods, and Grocery Departments
• Process incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Sort damaged product for credit
• Operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer
• Maintain company productivity standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management

Training will be provided at the store level.

• Bending and stooping
• Ability to stock 50 cases per hour
• Ability to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40°F)
• Ability to push a loaded two‑wheeler (average 100–120 pounds)
• Ability to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Ability to pull a loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4–8 hours)

• Internal candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
• Store Support Center teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Must have manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview

Compensation Pay Range: $15.15 – $16.45 per hour
