Car Wash Assistant Manager

Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking an Assistant Manager for Beck's Car Wash. In this hands-on role, you'll support daily site operations, lead and train team members, and ensure friendly, efficient customer service. Responsibilities include opening/closing, scheduling, cash handling, inventory checks, and monitoring wash quality and site cleanliness. You'll help troubleshoot basic equipment issues, uphold safety standards, and model our family-oriented, community-focused culture while supporting the Site Manager and stepping in during their absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation of Beck's Car Wash, ensuring smooth and efficient site performance
• Lead, train, and coach team members to deliver friendly, high-quality customer service
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposit preparation
• Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and shift coverage to meet business needs
• Monitor wash quality, equipment function, and site cleanliness and safety
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance needs with management or vendors
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and assist with ordering and stock rotation
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and uphold company service standards
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and operational policies and procedures
• Act as key support to the Site Manager and provide leadership in their absence
