The Vet Reps  specializes in veterinary equipment sales and business development consulting, dedicated to improving animal wellness through innovative solutions. Based in the Chicago area, the company works with clients both nationally and internationally, focusing exclusively on high-quality veterinary equipment and medical devices. We assist manufacturers in achieving sales growth and overcoming challenges by providing exceptional sales representation and strategic business consulting.

The Vet Reps  also helps veterinarians enhance their return on investment by offering leading finance solutions to simplify the procurement process. Our mission is to elevate animal care standards by addressing the unique needs and goals of our clients.

Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for an Independent Sales Representative  role involves identifying and developing opportunities for selling veterinary equipment and medical devices. Day-to-day tasks include building relationships with veterinary clinics and hospitals, maintaining a thorough understanding of veterinary equipment and innovative solutions, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities also include achieving sales targets, managing customer accounts, and acting as a trusted advisor to both veterinary clients and manufacturers.

Currently, there are several territories available.

Qualifications
  • Proven ability in sales, client relationship building, project management, and business development
  • Knowledge or experience in the veterinary or medical equipment industry; understanding of animal wellness standards is an advantage
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Experience with implementing sales strategies and meeting performance metrics
  • Comfortable with utilizing tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator or other CRM platforms
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients or attend industry events
