We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive located in the Midwestern United States to play a vital role in driving new client acquisitions in zero‑base accounts, as well as nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing customers.
One Trust, a rapidly growing SaaS enterprise platform, is committed to the success of our Sales Team. We provide extensive support through demand generation, a methodology‑driven sales philosophy, regular sales training, customer‑centric roadmaps, and an accessible executive team to assist in closing deals.
Your MissionAs a Strategic Account Executive, you will be tasked with consistently generating, qualifying, and closing opportunities that help our customers build trust and drive revenue for One Trust. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and exceptional value‑based sales skills to develop effective solutions and address complex customer challenges. You will also offer valuable insights and best practices to our customers and prospects.
- Achieve or surpass sales quotas
- Proactively generate pipeline through outreach, even while closing deals
- Utilize your resourcefulness to identify and engage stakeholders, leaders, and champions to effectively execute the sales strategy
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Business Development, Partner Channel, and Solutions Engineering teams to successfully land and expand key accounts
- Conduct two‑sided discovery and communicate impeccably to understand customer needs and deliver valuable solutions
- Stay informed about key competitors and their strategies to clearly differentiate One Trust's offerings
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, positioning One Trust as a trusted advisor
- Manage and optimize a targeted geographic territory
You are a strategic thinker with a hunting mentality and a consultative approach. Your work is characterized by curiosity, innovation, authenticity, leadership, and integrity. You have proven experience communicating effectively with C‑Level Executives and confidence in your communication skills. You excel at balancing new prospecting activities with advancing deals, and you maintain disciplined sales processes and CRM hygiene.
Qualifications- Extensive experience (ideally 12+ years) in selling B2B enterprise‑level software or related technologies, though exceptions may be made for exceptional candidates
- Currently resides in the Chicagoland area
- Proven success in value selling, executive alignment and solution selling.
- Strong track record of acquiring new logos while growing and supporting existing key accounts
- Experience in conducting sales presentations and demos
- Proficiency with or similar CRM solutions
- Experience in Privacy, Security, Third‑Party Risk Management, or Compliance
- Direct sales experience within the Information Security department
- CIPP/E or CIPM certification
- Training in Command of Message
$148,950—$165,500 USD
