Otis Elevator Company is seeking an experienced Sr Associate, Business Development to drive territory sales, margin growth, and customer satisfaction within the assigned geography.

Typical Day / Responsibilities
  • Prospect, build, and maintain customer relationships; achieve or exceed sales objectives; serve as technical sales consultant to customers in the assigned territory.
  • Responsible for both territory sales and margin growth.
  • Retain and renew current maintenance agreements by improving customer satisfaction via the MFA program.
  • Manage and nurture account relationships to drive renewals and repair opportunities.
  • Conduct sales planning and needs assessment to inform account targeting efforts, including expansion within existing installed base and renewal initiatives.
  • Assist with customer concern resolution together with Operations, including Service Project Manager and Service Supervisor.
  • Partner with branch business development sales team to identify business development opportunities.
  • Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve the solution set and refine messaging.
  • Use Otis’s sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results; manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (required).
  • 1‑3 years of sales / account management experience.
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based computer software.
  • Ability to work in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Customer‑centric with a strong desire to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership skills, goal‑oriented, with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
