Our client is a global leader in engineering and R&D services, helping Fortune 500 companies transform their products, operations, and customer experiences through next-generation technologies. With deep expertise across digital, electronics, and embedded systems, the company delivers innovation at scale across industries including automotive, heavy machinery, industrials etc.
They are looking for a seasoned Senior Client Partner to drive and grow a strategic relationship with a key manufacturing client based in Peoria, IL. The role will be responsible for managing and expanding this flagship account, serving as the primary interface between the client and the company’s global engineering and delivery teams.
This is a high-impact, client-facing sales role that requires deep domain expertise in digital engineering, embedded systems, and electronics, along with strong experience in managing large enterprise relationships within the manufacturing or heavy equipment domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Ownership:
- Serve as the single point of contact and trusted advisor for the client’s leadership team.
- Build deep relationships across business units and technology organizations within the client.
- Define and execute a long-term strategic account plan focused on revenue growth and innovation.
- Identify white-space opportunities and drive upsell and cross-sell of services in digital transformation, product engineering, and embedded solutions.
- Revenue & Delivery Oversight:
- Own the account P&L; drive multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with C-level stakeholders, engineering heads, and procurement teams on a regular basis.
- Proactively manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure long-term client retention.
Required Qualifications:
- 14+ years of experience in sales / account management of engineering and digital services, with a focus on manufacturing or heavy equipment clients.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, embedded systems, electronics design, and product lifecycle services.
- Experience working with or selling to large manufacturing enterprises (experience with clients in the Peoria region is a plus).
- Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts and achieve/exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, client management, and consultative selling skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience managing or selling to clients in the heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or off-highway vehicle sectors.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Industry 4.0, Digital Twins, EV/ADAS, connected products, and smart factory solutions.
- Experience working in a global delivery and engineering services model.
