Job Summary

Co‑owns solution/product sales to assigned account(s); develops and executes sales strategy for assigned account(s) with AM/CH and/or manager input; uses advanced knowledge of products/solutions and competitors with key customer contacts to leverage to Zebra’s advantage; creates and delivers high impact sales presentations and conducts product training. Considered a Zebra‑wide expert for advanced and complex products/solutions in the markets responsible for. Proactively establishes marketing / business plan and key messaging for solutions with minimal managerial input.

Often prepares and delivers industry changing presentations to customer trade organizations. Works with product development to create next generation of solutions and services related to their area of expertise. Quotas are generally very high relative to other Sales Engagement Managers and Account/Channel Management.

Responsibilities
  • Help develop Zebra Intelligent Automation RFID technical solutions; serve as expert in specific areas.
  • Create business/industry products/services strategy, often crossing multiple businesses.
  • Lead teams in development of advanced solution‑selling concepts and partnership creation; proven sales success required.
  • Apply full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; energize and lead others.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and improve long‑term profitability; anticipate future customer needs.
  • Apply strategic and tactical understanding of markets to ensure Zebra wins in the marketplace.
  • Lead problem resolution, identify appropriate resources, mitigate future risk; solve complex problems requiring unique solutions used across geographies and industries.
  • Operate with broad autonomy to make decisions that impact sales effectiveness; manage sales and support resources directly or indirectly; responsible for revenue, margins, and departmental expenses.
  • Lead formal teams or manage sales personnel; highest level of decision‑makers in largest and most complex systems; define project customer interfaces.
  • Maintain high quota and results over multiple years; manage large complex deals or high‑volume moderate deals with strategic impact for Zebra.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Asset locationing experience, RFID, solution sales, SOW‑based sales.
  • Global account management experience in Transportation & Logistics.
  • 50% travel required.
  • Preferred:
    Understanding of retail parcel shippers; understanding of conveyance‑based solutions.
  • Demonstrate a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, including technical troubleshooting in diverse customer environments.
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Expertise in Zebra technical solutions, especially RFID.
  • Leadership in advanced solution selling concepts and partnership creation; proven sales success.
  • In-depth knowledge of business policies, practices, and ability to energize teams.

Compensation

Pay Range: $ – $ annually. Annual Incentive Compensation includes variable compensation in the form of commission for achieving quota at 67% of terms of the applicable sales incentive plan.
