Inside Sales Representative SUMMARY

We are looking for an Inside Salesperson/Warehouser to develop and maintain relationships with long‑term customers, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide sales support. The ideal candidate is customer‑obsessed, organized, and can be both detail‑oriented and work with a sense of urgency. Someone who is proactive, shows initiative, and is excited to be empowered and included in business goals will have ample opportunity for growth within the organization.

The role will be primarily sales focused, with the need to help with warehouse duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be organized, possess strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Must show initiative, self‑motivation, perseverance.
  • Must show attention to detail and accuracy with written and pulled orders.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 hourly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Service customers arriving at the will‑call counter and offer product expertise and enhancements where applicable.
  • Turn customer purchase orders into sales orders.
  • Engage in pricing and availability discussions with customers & outside sales teams.
  • Develop processes and strategies to help the will‑call counter remain organized and clean.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and training in solar equipment to give customers advice on products and product alternatives.
  • Provide insight into purchasing decisions for the company team based on conversations with customers and a well‑established customer relationship.
  • Provide customer service to walk‑in and local customers.
  • Develop positive relationships with new and existing solar manufacturers.
  • Assist with customer order prep and deliveries in support of the Warehouse Team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
