Account Executive Hospitality- IL, MO, and IN

We are looking for an energetic, business‑oriented Account Executive who can drive sales in the hospitality market across Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana. The ideal candidate will be organized, self‑starter, and a proven winner who thrives in fast‑paced, complex selling environments with multiple stakeholders.

This role will act as the principal selling agent within the assigned territory, achieving short‑ and long‑term objectives established in the company’s Business Plan. Objectives are achieved through discovering new customers and markets, and may be assigned to a specific market segment when based out of a major metropolitan area.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform sales calls, including traveling to customers and potential customers’ facilities, providing product information and support; making sales presentations; calculating and quoting prices; taking orders; closing transactions; and explaining product features using persuasive sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Monitor territory performance against established objectives and take appropriate action to improve results.
  • Provide customer service to resolve issues within marketing policies, communicate customer requirements, and gather product feedback for managers.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory in conjunction with the Regional Vice President and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Stay abreast of industry, product, economic, and territorial changes that may impact sales, and report activity to management.
  • Help develop a territory coverage plan defining support types and customer contact frequency needed to meet goals.
  • Analyze regional opportunities, develop sales forecasts by customer and product, and prepare statistical reports as required.
  • Recommend expense budgets and manage business expenses within corporate guidelines; ensure company equipment and materials are properly maintained.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you have:

  • 1–3 years of progressively responsible work‑related experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
  • Ability to learn and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the company’s diverse business and product lines.

What you’re good at:

  • Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for negotiating with internal and external customers at all levels; ability to handle antagonistic situations professionally.
  • Team orientation and ability to achieve results through collaborative efforts; persuasive marketing and selling skills.
  • Analytical skills for collecting, correlating, and interpreting statistical and financial data to develop solutions.
  • Experience interacting with and tracking orders through a CRM system.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

What else?

  • 75%–100% domestic travel via land and/or air; may be required to lift and move up to 50 lbs without aids.
  • Vision requirements comparable to those required for a valid driver’s license; full-body movement required (standing, reaching, climbing).
