Maximum pay: $85/hour depending on experience.

The Role

This is a full- or part-time position (20–40 hours) paid at an hourly rate. The Healthcare Systems Business Specialist promotes company products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within a defined territory, educating customers on product use and benefits, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive territory sales goals by promoting company products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography.
  • Strategically sell to and engage key stakeholders within complex healthcare systems (e.g., healthcare providers, service line managers, clinical & specialty pharmacists, fellows, hospitalists, transition of care coordinators) to achieve sales objectives for our anti‑infective product.
  • Develop expertise in healthcare systems, market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, and inpatient/outpatient network navigation; create and execute Strategic Key Account Plans and account strategies.
  • Demonstrate agility in learning and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and overcome obstacles to reach otherwise hard-to‑access healthcare providers and customers.
  • Establish relationships with a broad base of stakeholders to promote and educate on the use of company products through one‑on‑one meetings, presentations, speaker programs, and other appropriate means.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other sales teams, medical, and market‑access teams, to engage key healthcare systems and ensure compliant partnership.
  • Accurately report sales activities, testing, territory expenses and submit written reports by required deadlines.
  • Maintain and manage all company equipment and promotional materials in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Attend all company‑sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed, including POAs, National Sales Meetings, Regional and Local Conventions, etc.

This position is responsible for contributing to the national sales goal.

Organizational Context

Success in this role requires continuous learning and professional sales development, effective sales and communication techniques, and deep product/therapeutic area knowledge.

  • First‑line customer‑facing sales position.
  • Reports to Region Business Lead Healthcare Systems.
  • Manages territory responsible for the company's products within Healthcare Systems.
