Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do:- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and—when appropriate—emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site‑specific protocols.
- Support day‑to‑day operations by observing for potential hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, then notifying the appropriate personnel for follow‑up.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
