As a Security Officer Front Desk in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access procedures, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and attention to detail. In this customer-facing role, you will help create a welcoming environment while supporting day-to-day site needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and assigned security-related protocols for a financial institution location.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or access credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and professional communication.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and/or incident documentation with attention to detail and in alignment with site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities and other security-related duties as assigned while serving as a stationary point of contact for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
