Reports to Engineering Manager Overall Purpose Maintain fleet to conform with company standards, ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility Area of Accountability /Responsibility
Key Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on Diesel Double decker buses as per Company standards.
Maintain work orders accurately
Fill out inspection sheets accurately
Engine repair including but not limited to egr coolers, egrs ,brake system, turbos, rocker boxes, aftertreatment systems, radiators, fan motors, gear pumps, I.EA/C repair including but not limited to compressors, lines, sensors, circuit boards, control modules, txv’s, I.ERepair Air Brake systems
Able to follow instructions and read wiring diagrams
Able to perform root cause analysis
Able to use diagnostic tools
Road Service Attend to vehicle breakdowns and service calls in line with the needs of the business
Safety
Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
Follow all OSHA mandated regulations

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience/Competencies Knowledge High School diploma or equivalent
ASE Certification is a plus Valid CDL class B or Valid Drivers License required

Team player. Able to work effectively with all people
Experience/Qualifications Must have or acquire CDLASE master certification
24+ months experience as medium/heavy duty diesel technician
Must have own tools
Competencies
Cummins Knowledge Working Hours and Conditions Must have flexible schedule with availability to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Must have a flexible schedule to travel out of state to other locations.
Must have own tools
Physical Requirements Job requires employee to remain on his or her feet for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
Job requires lifting, carrying or pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs.
High School diploma or equivalent
