Maintenance Mechanic
Location:
Core‑Mark warehouse (U.S.)
Shift: Sunday – Thursday, starting at 2 pm.
Position PurposeWe value the safety of our associates. The Maintenance Mechanic maintains all equipment inside warehouses and buildings to meet industry standards and ensure efficient operation.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
- Conduct general electrical and other repairs of equipment on company premises.
- Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
- Maintain all equipment necessary to perform work.
- Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
- Perform daily safety checks.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
- Maintain, replace, build, adjust, and modify the facilities, buildings, and grounds on a schedule and in emergency and non‑emergency situations.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete necessary reports and paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and co‑workers.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry.

Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of maintenance, mechanic repair, and/or related experience.
- Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 30 lbs regularly, up to 65 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying noise and temperature extremes.
- 2+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment (e.g., control panels, PLCs, conveyor shafts, motor and bearing replacement) in a warehouse environment.
- Certifications:
OSHA Forklift Operator, HVAC, ammonia.
