Position OverviewNext Day Access Southwest Chicago is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on technical experience who enjoys problem‑solving, working directly with customers, and installing mobility and accessibility equipment that improves quality of life.
Compensation- Pay: $20 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
- Install accessibility and mobility equipment in residential and commercial settings
- Troubleshoot and perform adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation
- Safely operate tools and equipment required for installations
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment at customer sites
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding installation processes and timelines
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
Complete service documentation accurately and timely
- Minimum 1 year of transferable mechanical or technical experience
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
