AWP (Aerial Work Platform) Compliance Technician II

Location:
Peoria, AZ 85345
Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, overtime based on business need.
Pay Expectation: $22.35 - $27.95/hr pay based on Experience. Paid weekly!
- Perform routine, 90‑day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms (including boom lifts and scissor lifts) to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment both in the shop and in the field
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools (including torque wrenches)
- Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately using web‑based systems and electronic tablets
- Maintain equipment safety decals, service readiness, and a clean, organized work area; assist with equipment loading, delivery, and pickup as needed
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with construction or industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing on equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; minimum age of 21 and ability to maintain a DOT medical card
- Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills for customer and team interaction
