Service and Support Engineers

Alexander Daniels Global is supporting a leading global AM OEM company actively looking for Service and Support Engineers. In addition to the hardware, the organisation provides software and support services that help customers optimise manufacturing workflows and achieve consistent, high‑quality output.

This role is ideal for hands‑on engineers who enjoy problem‑solving in the field, working directly with customers, and supporting complex, high‑value machinery. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment operates at peak performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Please note, this is a site-based role
in Illinois with regional travel

Travel is a core part of this role, with up to 50–90% domestic travel expected.

You’ll have:

• Technical qualification (engineering, electrical, mechanical, or similar) or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Experience installing, maintaining, or servicing high-value capital equipment (e.g. CNC, robotics, manufacturing systems)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively

A plus would be to have:

• Understanding of engineering principles such as GD&T
• Experience working with both mechanical and electrical systems
• IT and software aptitude
• Military or field‑based engineering experience
