Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Experienced maintenance technician wanted. Organized self-starter needed for this position. Must possess skills in all areas of residential apartment building maintenance including: electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall repair, carpentry, painting. Routine janitorial duties are also required for this position. Must be willing to do after-hours on-call jobs (with paid overtime). Must live within 45 minutes of job site. After 60-day probationary period, 6 (six) paid sick days and 5 (five) paid personal days are provided to the employee.

After one-year's service 10 (ten) paid vacation days are provided to the employee.

• Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Turnover vacant units for rental
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractor as necessary

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must have valid Driver's License

Pay is based on experience.

Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM.
