Field Technician

Job Description

• Drive trucks for field by performing pre-trip, transport our equipment to and from job.
• Perform PMs on equipment per OSHA standards and schedules
• Perform repair work on equipment, belts including splicing and repairs of belting.
• Perform skilled electrical/mechanical work to maintain/repair equipment used in field.
• Communicate with foreman, customers, and Opetations Manager.
• Maintain records and logs of work performed requiring use of ELDs, and time sheets.
• Operate forklift, aerial lift.
• On call 24/7 for emergency work requirements, including travel and extended stays.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Mechanical experience to work on vehicles a plus.

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Continued education in mechanical and electrical technology a plus.

• 3-5 years in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Be open to obtain a valid Class A CDL driver's license with no major infractions in last 7 years and must maintain as a condition of continued employment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.

• Pass drug test, including hair follicle and participate in random drug program
• Pass background check
• Pass a DOT physical
• Maintain the following physical abilities:
  • Mobility to walk, bend, stand, crouch, or climb for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds
