Appointment:
Full-time – 40 hours per week

Salary: $45.85 per hour

University plumbers work with all types of potable water pipe repair and installation; building drain and sanitary drainage system and related ventilation system; plumbing fixture repair and installation; fire protection piping and the repair, maintenance, and installation of control devices within these systems; perform other duties as assigned.

Must be member in good standing and be able to provide proof of current membership in the Plumbers’ Local Union No. 63 affiliated with the A.F.L.

-C.I.O. and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing Industry of the United States and Canada; minimum of five (5) years experience as a Journeyman in all aspects of commercial and or industrial plumbing repair, maintenance and new installations; ability to take instruction from several sources; ability to work/interact with diverse groups of people demonstrating respect and sensitivity for cultural differences;

effective communication and interpersonal skills; good attendance/work records and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
