Role Overview :
This position supports a social services unit focused on crisis intervention and community safety. It involves providing mobile mental health, substance use, and behavioral health services in collaboration with law enforcement, primarily through assessment, stabilization, case management, and referrals.
Qualifications:Requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Preferred candidates have at least one year of related experience.
Skills & Abilities:Must demonstrate excellent communication, de-escalation techniques, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with diverse age groups. Must be proficient in documentation, able to handle crisis situations, and maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with law enforcement, medical staff, and community providers are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct crisis assessments using motivational interviewing and intervention techniques.
- Ensure safety and develop appropriate action plans.
- Collaborate effectively with emergency personnel and community resources.
- Provide follow-up case management and maintain timely documentation.
- Recognize cultural values and uphold professional boundaries.
