Legacy financial systems are often a patchwork of disconnected tools. Our Client is looking for a Software
Engineering Manager with Fin Tech industry experience to solve this—leading the transition of their core platform into a cloud-native, event-driven ecosystem that powers the global financial office.
This role is designed for a technical leader who moves comfortably between high-level architectural design and the granular details of engineering excellence.
The Impact- Lead the Evolution: Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, focusing on event-driven, cloud-native services and full-stack systems.
- Cultivate Talent: Act as a force multiplier by recruiting, coaching, and mentoring a world-class team of developers.
- Architect Solutions: Make critical decisions on system design and architecture in direct collaboration with Product Managers.
- Drive Excellence: Champion Agile methodologies and the "You Build It, You Run It" (YBIYRI) model to ensure operational resilience and quality.
- Bridge the Gap: Engage in concept discussions to align technical solutions with broad business objectives and CFO needs.
- Leadership Depth: Minimum 8+ years of management experience within a SaaS platform environment
. - Industry Vertical (Non-Negotiable): Deep expertise in Banking, Fin Tech, Financial Services, or Accounting
. (Consulting backgrounds are welcome only if strictly focused on this vertical). - Tech Stack Mastery: Expert in the Microsoft ecosystem (C#/.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework) and Azure (App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Storage, and Key Vault).
- Engineering Roots: Must have transitioned from an engineering background. While not coding daily, you must be "hands-on" enough to lead design reviews and perform PR reviews.
- API & Integrations: Deep expertise in driving integrations with Bank ERPs and brokerage exchanges.
- AI Readiness: AI experience is "table stakes." You are expected to have been active in the AI space for the last 12–18 months.
- Quality Ownership: We do not use an SDET/QA-specialist model; you must champion a "no-silo" philosophy where quality belongs to the entire team.
