Warehouse Associate - 1st shift -Peoria, IL

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and identifying discrepancies in receiving loads.

• Perform order picking, pallet building, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Use equipment such as cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move and stock inventory efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, inspecting incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Strong attention to detail for order picking and packing.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

1st shift: 5:00 AM-1:00 PM (depot operating 5:00-7:00 PM; may have additional shifts as workload requires).

Starting salary range: $21.00 per hour (may be adjusted based on market conditions, location, and experience).
