The Role

The Production/Warehouse Worker I plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by handling the light manufacturing and distribution of goods. This position involves physically packaging, preparing orders based on customer specific requirements, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role requires attention to detail to accurately package, label and ensure that all products are handled safely and in compliance with company policies.

The Production/ Warehouse Worker I supports the broader logistics and supply chain functions by facilitating timely and accurate movement of goods. Ultimately, this position contributes to customer satisfaction by helping to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and within the customer required specs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills to understand work instructions and complete documentation. Spanish proficiency accepted;
    English not required.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Availability to work 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, including occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Sort, organize, and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet daily operational goals.
Skills

The required skills such as physical stamina and basic literacy are essential for performing daily tasks like handling shipments and documenting inventory accurately. Candidates use their ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure orders are picked and packed correctly, minimizing errors. Strong organizational skills help maintain an orderly warehouse, which supports smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Effective communication and teamwork skills are also vital, as they enable coordination with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets.
