Order Filler II
The Order Filler II is responsible for picking orders to carts/pallets in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, accuracy and speed. Comfort at 20 feet of elevation is needed as daily tasks also include movement of material through the warehouse with the use of a sit down forklift and/or order picker as well as an overhead crane. Entry of material into the computer (via hand held scanners) for tracking along with email will require some basic computer knowledge.
The Order Filler II will maintain a safe and clean work area by ensuring they clean their area as needed.
Job Duties
- Move material to various locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper material handling to meet quality standards.
- Enter material into the computer.
- Utilize overhead crane operation
- Operate (become certified for) a counter balance forklift and order picker.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some college/technical school or experience in a third-party logistics environment preferred.
- Previous experience using material handling equipment preferred

- Complete repetitive tasks with few breaks,

- Vision requirements include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more);
Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to focus (ability to adjust eyes to bring an object into sharp focus). - Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
