Warehouse Associate

Position Purpose

The Warehouse role at SRS Building Products manages the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products within warehouse and branch settings to serve business customers.

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments, ensuring accurate logging and storage.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse, yard, and office environment.
• Manage inventory: distribute to storage areas, rotate stock, and report discrepancies or damages.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative and productive work environment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely following operational guidelines.

• Lift/move up to 100 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
• Work in loud, extreme weather, and airborne particle conditions.
• Flexible for extended hours during peak seasons.

• Forklift Operator certification.
• Experience in high‑volume distribution environments.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Familiarity with industry‑specific software applications.
• Proficient in Spanish or another secondary language.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Conducted safety audits and training sessions.
• Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer and math skills for inventory counts.
• Effective time management and teamwork.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Hourly wage range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Starting wage varies by location, education, training, and experience.
